Located in the Western Province of Rwandan near the shores of lake Kivu, lies the Muhari C.W.S washing station. Sitting between 1800 masl and 2200 masl, this mill is roughly 10 hectares and employs about 200 people daily. The owner of the mill has been running it the last 6 years and starts with planting a nursery of coffee trees within a green house for optimal quality and when ready, the plants will be transported and planted. Twayigize is the manager and takes care of controlling, organizing and monitoring all activities to maximize efficiency and quality.

Peaberry coffee is a rare, natural mutation where a coffee cherry develops one small, round bean instead of the typical two flat-sided halves.
